Review of the breed

Lindovskayathe geese breed belongs to the meat direction. It was obtained as a result of a multistage selection and is currently maintained at a high level of breed. The breed's founders are Chinese geese. Lindovsky geese - large birds, very fast, are wonderful parents for their caterpillars, grow well and greatly gain weight.

A description of the pedigree of the geese of Linda is quite complicated. It all began in the 50's of the last century with their Chinese ancestors crossed with local n Nizhny Novgorod individuals. Further, the breeding material was crossed with Solnechnogorsk, Adlerov, and later with the Arzamas goose. The last, final version of modern linda geese was obtained on the basis of the Landersky and Gorky. So, to the 70's of the 20th century a breed was finally formed.

Outside, Lindo Geese look very attractive, remembered at first sight. Their structure is large, the meat direction is immediately visible. The average weight of one individual is about 8 kg, but sometimes adult geese weigh and 10-12 kg. A distinguishing feature - these geese do not stop growing after the process of juvenile molting( 115-120 days).Just at this time, the owners feed the birds the cheapest natural food and fruit and vegetable waste.

The feathers of these geese are white, on the head there is a characteristic frontal lobe, and the trunk is long and large. Adults goose weigh at least 8 kg with proper fattening. Eggs goose weigh 140-170 grams. The guinea fowl weighs almost 4 kg by the age of three months. The geese are usually bigger, they have a pronounced frontal lobe. Guts are smaller and more earthly. The paws of Lindov's birds are dark orange, the beak is bright orange. Eyes of dark color, round, small.

Nutrition and walking

Guinea pigs in growing need to give broiler feed. In general, for Lindovsky geese, the most important guarantee of health and justification of their qualities is the high nutritional value of the diet. The optimal selection of feeds can be divided depending on the age: feed-starter give up to 14 days, feed-grower - from 15 to 28 days, and feed finisher - from 28 to 45 days. Until the same age, the caterpillars do not walk, after this age interval they are released to grazing every day.

The level of protein in the diet, taking into account the self-grazing, should be 14%( from 45 to 120 days). Also, the diet should include grain crops, vitamin premixes( if grazing is impossible, for example, because of the winter). The amount of premix for the whole mass of feed per day is 1-1,5%.These geese do not restrict the number of feeds, allowing them to eat as much as possible. Otherwise, the goose from underfoot can begin to give birth to rachitic chicks.

Lynda geese ripen at 8 months of age. The gosok is well-defined maternal qualities and the instinct of the gut. Guinea fowls grow well and with the correct light regime they quickly grow tired, improve. The isolability of the eggs in the incubator reaches 90%, survival of the caterpillars after the withdrawal - about 80%.The most suitable age for laying eggs is 180 days, but some geese begin this process in 5 months. On the next video you can see how the herbs of this breed look.

Growing young

In order to increase the survival rate of the young and the best weight gain of this feather, they arrange light mode with breaks. In the first ten days of lighting is served around the clock. In the following days up to the age of 20 days the room with cucumbers is illuminated for 16 hours. And when they reach the age of 45 days pass on a daylight, equal to 14 hours.

The most important cultivation period is from 28 to 45 days when feather feathers are formed. It is important during this period not to disturb chicks, to feed more often, to talk with them, not to cry and not to muffle.

One goose before the emergence of caterpillars during the season gives about 50 eggs, sometimes more. Goose, selected for breeding, are fertilized artificially every five days and are not released into a general walk. In normal feeding, females are from the age of 1 to 5 years. Then the birds, as a rule, clog up on meat. In the first month of productive oviposition the female brings 8 eggs, the second - 14, in the third - 10, the fourth - 7 and the fifth - 2 eggs. Then begins the hatching of the young. The meat out of the cartilage of the linden goose is 80% of the body weight. This is a very promising breed of meat, which fully redeems its content.

Judging by the reviews of the breeders, the main thing after eating is to pay attention to the qualitative sanitary situation in the room where the animals are kept. Mandatory veterinary consultation and vaccination from viral enteritis! Linda birds are very prone to this disease. Young adults vaccinate from enteritis for 2-3 weeks of life.

By the way, farmers say that Linda is well suited to other breeds. Typically, with them, they plant the Great Gray or Kholmogory. These are very contagious birds that are friendly to both their relatives and people. They love to walk, curious, eat well, if they are healthy, and also perfectly care for the offspring. The goose is very tied to its kids. On the next photo it is clear that the Great Gray and Young lynxes are very well clustered in the herd.

Another problem, say avoidable farmers, are aspergillosis and salmonella. Breeders advise to do the disinfection of premises, to fight with mold feed, be sure to do iodine gasification until the eggs are in the incubator. The period - from the age of the first days three times a day and before the disappearance of the threat of infection, if any. If all the recommendations are followed, even if the food is not high in nutrition, the yield of the young is not lower than 60%.
